This Haiyan Pastry Shop is located right beneath the Phoenix Terrace in the old street of Xianyang, adjacent to the Anguo Temple
There are two old and small rooms. One is used for baking and the other for exhibition and sale
The shopkeeper's family is very kind and simple
Whenever I went there, I could always see grandma wearing a white hat sitting at the door
The son in an apron went back and forth weighing pastries for the guests
A particularly beautiful and warm scene
It was only today that I learned my grandma was no longer here
The shopkeeper brother told me that he would pass on the art of handmade pastries
I still want to create some innovative flavors
Their signature crystal cakes have been sold as far as abroad
There is also an old grandpa who has settled in Hong Kong and comes here especially every year to buy
I like the "cake base" here best.
